6 Poli Sci junky's thoughts
(just some thoughts)
There will always be people who complain about not understanding how government works. Few can say they know how their state/local gov. works yet ASM is held to a different standard. Many complain they don't understand how ASM works and is too complicated. I would say that just like you learn about federal/state/local gov, you must spend time learning about ASM to understand how it functions. No one can force you to learn (even though that's what people want from the press office).
Moral of the story is if you want to understand ASM just like any other local gov. you must "look into it" just like any other form of gov. -

I encourage you to read about the constitution and its effects at asmconstitution.wordpress.com. This is the best way to get factual, unbiased information regarding proposed changes.

4 student org funding
I've heard that having a president would put student org funding at risk. It seems like if the pres. can veto budgets, he/she has too much power.

3 Re: Censorship problems
We do not censor opinion. Our policy is in step with alike systems. See the bottom of this form for specifics.
Criticism will not be censored because of its position. Instead, ASM leaders will listen and respond when necessary.
This two-way model of communication ensures the value of student voices in student government. -
