University Honors Committee

Committee Description

The University Honors Committee provides leadership to strengthen undergraduate experiences for students in honors and related programs. To accomplish its mission, the Committee shall:

• Advise the Provost and Vice Provost for Teaching and Learning on matters regarding honors and related programs
• Support University efforts in recruiting high achieving students
• Serve as a campus resource for identification and promotion of honors and enrichment activities
• Serve as the forum for discussion of campus honors issues
• Foster cooperation and a sense of community among and between campus honors programs, students, faculty and staff including best practices
• Assess campus-wide programming for highly motivated students to serve them better
