Committee Description:

A campus-wide policy committee dealing with all issues related to the General Education requirements. 

The business of the committee in recent years has tended to focus on the assessment of student learning in courses that meet the General Education Requirements. Considerable attention has been paid to whether students are achieving the learning goals articulated for the Communication and Quantitative Reasoning requirements; this work is expected to continue.
