Is your organization interested in bringing/creating a unique experience on campus for other UW ? Madison students to enjoy? ASM Event Grants are designed to allow RSO's to bring speakers to campus, put on festivals, and other such activities on campus. Events must be open to all students on campus. Grants must be submitted SIX weeks before the event, while. In addition, all applications must be submitted by noon Friday before the Tuesday meeting - these deadlines are strictly enforced.
Is there a conference or training session that would tremendously benefit your organization? The ASM Travel Grant fund allows RSOs to travel to places and events that serve to further the goals of the groups. Attending the trip should benefit the campus beyond the immediate traveler(s) by bringing back some variety of information or service. AFTER APPROVAL - For event grants over $5000 and travel grants over $6250, the grant must get final approval at the next Student Council meeting (every other Wednesday at 6:30 pm TITU).
- Schedule a REQUIRED MEETING with Shana Treu (sltreu@wisc.edu) AS SOON AS GRANT IS APPROVED. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN THE INABILITY TO REIMBURSE STUDENTS OR TO PAY VENDORS.
