Responsibilities of Shared Governance Appointees
Appointees to standing Shared Governance committees are charged with representing students on their respective committees.
Appointees must:
- Represent students and advocate for students on their committees.
- Attend the meetings of the committee they are appointed to.
- Post a report after each committee meeting to on the Shared Governance Blog. The report should consist of a brief summary of what occurred at the committee meeting.
- Attend the weekly Shared Governance meetings. At his or her discretion, the Chair of Shared Governance may excuse you from this requirement if there are extraordinary circumstances.
