Get Involved!

There are three main ways to get involved with ASM: volunteer for a committee or campaign, take on a semester internship, or serve as an elected or appointed official to one of ASM's decision-making bodies.

There are limitless opportunities to volunteer for ASM for ongoing committees including University Affairs, Diversity, Legislative Affairs, and Shared Governance. In addition to these long-term committees, ASM also works on short-term campaigns chosen each year by the Student Council.

ASM also offers internships for two to three course credits. Internships offer students exciting opportunities to build skills, meet new people, and make an impact on the university and legislative policy. Interns earn class credit while getting hands-on experience working for issues they care about!

Other ways to get involved include serving on the ASM Student Council, or applying for a position with the Press Office, the ASM Student Judiciary, the Student Services Finance Committee (SSFC) or the ASM Finance Committee. Check here for current openings.
