Student Council Meeting

Student Council meetings take place every other week in the Hearing Room, 4th floor, SAC.

Finance Committee

The Finance Committee shall be composed of 9 members. Four shall be appointed annually by the Student Council (SC) from SC Representatives. Five shall be appointed annually by the SC from ASM members not holding any other elected or appointed office in ASM. Vacancies shall be filled for the remainder of the term by the appointing body, subject to the same qualifications. The Finance Committee shall have the power to allocate funds for student events in accordance with standards established in the Bylaws. Allocations of more than 2% of the amount annually budgeted for student events shall require ratification by the SC. Finance Committee is responsible for maintaining ASM's internal fiscal budget, as well as hearing over 300 RSO requests for Operations Grants, Open Fund Grants, Event Grants and Travel Grants.

There are other grants available through the Division of Student Life at the Center for Leadership and Involvement (CFLI) and the Multicultural Council (MCC)

Finance Committee Meetings and Notifications

Finance Committee meets every Tuesday at 6:00 PM in the Hearing Room on the 4th floor of the Student Activity Center. Agendas are prepared the Friday prior to Finance Committee meetings. Student Organizations will be notified of their hearing no later than the Friday prior to the meeting at which their grant will be heard.
