COMMITTEES & BOARDS
The ASM Finance Committee is responsible for awarding grants to registered student organizations for travel, events, and operations. The Finance Committee is comprised of 9 UW-Madison students who allocate funds in a viewpoint neutral manner. The ASM grants are funded by student segregated fees. Any registered student organization in good standing with Center for Leadership and Involvement is eligible to apply for a grant.
The ASM Finance Committee must follow their policies and procedures, UW, local, state, and federal laws and policies regarding grant allocations. All student segregated fees must be allocated in accordance with F50. The Finance Committee must make all decisions in a viewpoint neutral manner. The Finance Committee will have Travel and Event grant hearings every Tuesday night at 6:15 pm the Hearing Room on the 4th floor of the SAC. Operations Grants will be heard in the spring and have a separate schedule, TBD.
The first hearing of the 2014-2015 school year is on Tuesday, September 2, 2014.
