ASM Bus Passes for Fall 2008
Available Starting Monday, August 25
You may pick up your ASM Bus Pass at any of the following locations, dates and times: - Memorial Union or Union South
August 25-September 12
Monday-Friday 10 am to 6 pm
Closed Saturday and Sunday
Closed for Labor Day, Monday August 1
- Memorial Union Bash
Sunday, August 31
9 PM to 1 AM
- After September 12
ASM StudentPrint
(Basement of the Memorial Union)
Open 9:30 am to 6:30 pm Monday-Friday
The last day to pick up a Fall Pass will be December 19, 2008. Passes are valid through January 23, 2009. You must have a UW Photo ID and be registered for Fall 2008 classes before you may obtain a pass.
Some students such as auditors are ineligible to participate in this program. Please see our FAQ page for program rules.
Replacement Passes are only available at StudentPrint. We do not sell them at our special distribution points at Union South and the Memorial Union.
If you are unable to use the buses due to a temporary or permanent disability, you may be eligible for special services called paratransit. To qualify you must have a bona fide reason to be unable to use route services and fill out an application with Madison Metro. Metro makes the determination whether you are eligible for paratransit based on federal guidelines. For more information and links to this application see our Paratransit page.

Remember:
- Your ASM Student Bus Pass is good for all Madison Metro routes.
- You must be a currently enrolled UW Madison student and have been charged segregated fees to be eligible for an ASM Bus Pass.
- Students are entitled to ONE ASM Student Bus Pass per semester, and ONE replacement pass per semester. There is a charge of $20 for a replacement pass. You may purchase a replacement pass at StudentPrint; we don't sell them at our special distribution locations.
- You must show your valid UW-Madison student I.D. to pick up your pass; no one else can pick up your pass for you.
- Only YOU are allowed to use your ASM Student Bus Pass. You cannot transfer your pass to anyone else.
- Campus Buses (Routes 80, 81, 82, 85) are free and open to all students, staff and visitors.
UW and UW Hospital Employees may participate in the UW Faculty/Staff Bus Pass program. You are not eligible for an ASM Pass. For more information on the UW Employee and UW Hospital Pass Program, please click here .
