The Vote 2006 Campaign's main goals were to work with students, UW-Madison administration, and the community to aid in and provide opportunities for students to register to vote on campus. In addition, the campaign provided information on when and where students can vote as well as provided students with avenues to become knowledgeable about election candidates and what their stances are on student issues. Last year's major election issues for Wisconsin included Vote, State 2007-2009 Budget, and the Amendment on Civil Unions and Gay Marriages.

The ASM Vote 2006 Campaign was a part of the Vote 2006 Coalition. The ASM Vote 2006 Campaign had its own goals but was a part of the Vote 2006 Coalition because we shared its visions and goals!  Check out the Vote 2006 website at www.buckyvote.com.
