Registering to vote is easy!  Come to the ASM booth during the SOAR resource fair

Volunteer  to register new voters

     ASM is taking a unique approach to increasing the number of people participating in elections by registering incoming students to vote at the SOAR resource fair.  The Higher Education Act explains that every university must make an effort to register students to vote, but UW-Madison hasn't been following this act.  Legislative Affairs committee members got deputized this semester, allowing them to register people to vote.  This initiative is unique among other Big Ten schools and will increase student representation in government.  If you are interested in volunteering with the Legislative Affairs committee, please contact Hannah Karns at hkarns@wisc.edu
