Is your organization interested in bringing/creating a unique experience on campus for other UW ? Madison students to enjoy? ASM Event Grants are designed to allow RSO's to bring speakers to campus, put on festivals, and other such activities on campus. Events must be open to all students on campus. Grants over $2,860 must be submitted six weeks before the event, while grants under $2,860 four weeks prior to the event day. In addition, all applications must be submitted by noon Friday before the Tuesday meeting - this deadline is strictly enforced.
Is there a conference or training session that would tremendously benefit your organization? The ASM Travel Grant fund allows RSOs to travel to places and events that serve to further the goals of the groups. Attending the trip should benefit the campus beyond the immediate traveler(s) by bringing back some variety of information or service. All grants must be submitted by the Friday before the Tuesday meeting, four weeks prior to travel.
**The final Finance Committee meeting for the fall is December 11, 2007. Any applications received for events or travel that occur before the next Finance Committee meeting on January 29th will not be heard.**

The ASM Diversity Committee works on social
justice issues for under-represented students.For example, this past semester they worked on solutions for roommate
conflict and dorm hate crime.They also
host an annual event called Shadow Day where minority high school students
shadow UW students and engage in college preparation workshops.
