Students voiced their opinions this semester by saying that they would like more people out on the streets later at night that were not necessarily police officers. Student groups will be walking the neighborhoods of Regent, Spring, CampusVillage, West Washington and Mifflin Street.
Please sign up to volunteer for the Neighborhood Watch Program! You can walk with your friends or meet new people while working to build a safer campus! Sign up from on Friday or Saturday at http://www.volunteersolutions.org/uwdc/org/opp/10235032525.html
The UHS/Student Activity Center Committee is working to guide the construction of more student space on campus. The UHS/Student Activity Center is currently in construction phase at location of the former University Square.
Throughout the year the committee will work on fine tuning the details of the building including the interior design, the allocation of space, and the development of a plan as to how the space will be managed. The committee will also work to create a student-run business for the student-run business space of the Student Activity Center. The committee will meet Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm, Memorial Union TITU.
