Mary joined ASM in September 2008 as an L&S representative. She took on Nominations Board Chair in November. She thought getting involved with ASM would be a good learning experience, and it definitely has been.

Main Accomplishments
So far the board has ran several successful hiring processes. My goal is to fill all vacant Student Council seats for the remainder of the 15th session.

Committee Purpose and Goals
The Nominations Board is the hiring body within ASM. We interview and appoint students for various positions within the organization. We also assist in staff search and screen processes.

Anytime that Chris Tiernan opens his mouth.

Plans after Graduation
Before I enter "the real world," I plan to take a break! I would like to do some extended backpacking trips (Appalachian Trail, Pacific Crest Trail) and then do a service program similar to the PeaceCorps. Eventually I hope to find a job that allows me to make maps all day, every day.
