Achievement Gap Project Advisory Board

This new initiative is designed to develop a systematic, Teaching-As-Research-based approach toward addressing the achievement gap in courses with adverse outcomes for minority students at UW-Madison. The project is a three-year collaboration between the Delta Program in Research, Teaching and Learning, the Offices of the Vice Provost for Diversity and Climate, the Vice Provost for Teaching and Learning, the Vice Chancellor for Administration, and the College of Letters and Science.

As a member of the Advisory Board, we invite you to be involved in:

  • Advising on project development
  • Advocating for project implementation across campus
  • Action, as appropriate, with the project in your local context

In our initial year, we will meet with our Advisory Board twice a semester for 90 minutes each as listed below.  Subsequent advisory board involvement and meeting frequency will be determined at a later date.
