ASM Shared Governance Committee is the student body charged with appointing students to committees across the UW-Madison campus and the UW System.
Anyone can be a member and attend meetings if they are interested in discussing student issues or the operations of the university.
The core of the committee is made up of approximately 130 students who are appointed to university standing committees annually. ASM Shared Governance Committee meetings are held every Thursday at 5:00 pm in the Caucus Room on the 4th Floor of the Student Activity Center. Meetings last no more than one hour and are open to the public. Meetings are run by the ASM Shared Governance Committee Chair, who is appointed every May by the ASM Student Council.
The 2009-2010 Chair is Melissa Hanley (hanley2@wisc.edu). The 2009-2010 Project Assistant is Andrew Briddell (abriddell@wisc.edu).
